Shotfile Privacy Policy

Shotfile does not collect personal data. Photos, videos, scanned documents, project information and notes are stored on your device. No account is required. The developer does not operate a server that receives your work media, projects or location information. The app contains no advertising and no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.

Permissions

Camera and microphone access are used only for captures you start. Location is optional and, with your permission, adds context to your work records. Address lookup uses Apple's system geocoding services. You can change permissions at any time in iOS Settings.

Sharing and backups

When you export, files go to the apps and services you choose through the iOS share sheet; those services apply their own privacy policies. Device and iCloud backups follow your Apple settings.

Purchases

Apple processes all purchases. The app uses Apple's verified transaction information to determine subscription or lifetime access. The developer never receives your payment details. Manage subscriptions in your Apple Account settings.

Deletion

Deleted media stays in Recently Deleted for 30 days. Permanent deletion removes the local files. Deleting the app removes its local data; copies you exported or backed up elsewhere are managed separately.

Children

The app does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.

Changes

Updates to this policy will be posted on this page with a new date.
